Radio Contest Details Thunderbear experiments with a fresh sound
Mar 052010

At Foxwoods, one of America’s larget resort casinos, John Flanagan and his Nashville based band have recently been crowned the final winners of the Wonder of it All contest. The win means that not only will he be the voice of Foxwood’s new advertising jingle, but he’s won a prize package including, “a year-long promotional contract and a $25,000 grand prize package, including top-of-the-line music equipment, a Foxwoods VIP Package, studio time, an advertising schedule, and more.”

The contest was judged by a celebrity panel and competition was hot between the 9 bands vying for the spot. Though John Flanagan himself is a Boston native, his band is currently based here in Nashville and full of local musicians, in fact they recently had an amazing showing at the CEMB Rock Showcase, which was the first time that we here at the Nashville Listener had seen the performance.
